David Letterman‘s sensational sex scandal has triggered a $300 million divorce war between the 62-year-old talk-show host and his outraged wife Regina, say sources close to the star.

The couple – who lived together for years before marrying March 19 – are fighting over everything from his extensive property holdings to custody of their son Harry, 6, according to insiders.

“It’s become a real battle,” revealed a Late Show insider.

“Regina is humiliated, and she wants to get even with David for his public admission he cheated on her repeatedly during their 23-year relationship.”

Sarah Palin and her husband Todd Palin are to divorce.   They say multiple sources in Wasilla and Anchorage have confirmed the news.

A National Enquirer story reportedly exposing previous affairs, that they both have had, led to the destruction of their marriage and the stress from the alleged affairs led to Palin’s resignation as governor of Alaska.

Sarah has been seen publicly without her wedding rings and The Palins were noticeably not speaking to each other at last Sunday’s resignation speech in Fairbanks.

There’s a lot of shouting happening in Kate Gosselin’s house. The mother of eight children – twins Mady and Cara, 8, and sextuplets Alexis, Collin, Leah, Hannah, Aaden and Joel, 5 – has barely had time to change out of her morning workout clothes before her brood descends upon her, clinging to her legs and loudly wondering what to do given the rainy weather.

“Let’s do a project,” yells Kate, 34, above the clamor. The eight children race to the kitchen table and promptly pull out their construction paper and crayons to make Father’s Day cards for their conspicuously absent dad, who’ll receive them two days later.

“Will you help me draw a heart?” asks a giggling Collin. “I want lots of hearts.”
Lately, the family has seen lots of heartbreak, culminating with the news that Kate and Jon, 32, stars of the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8, have decided to end their marriage.

RadarOnline is reporting that they have insider information that Jon and Kate are announcing their divorce. Radar had exclusive video interviews with Kate’s brother and sister-in-law, so I wouldn’t doubt that their source is correct:

It’s official. Jon and Kate Gosselin will announce on Monday that they are divorcing, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

The source says that Kate recently met with a divorce lawyer. Another source told RadarOnline.com that the couple had previously agreed to separate by July 15.

With no indication that the estranged couple – who married 28 years ago – had a prenup, Robyn Gibson, 53, is legally entitled in their divorce to half of everything the actor-director-producer earned from their marriage in 1980 to the date of their legal separation: A fortune estimated at close to $1 billion.

“This could easily be one of the biggest divorce settlements in Hollywood history,” says Los Angeles family lawyer Lynn Soodik, who’s not involved with the case. “Any attorney would advise her to take half.”
